Apex records how you drive. That means it handles location data, which is about as personal as data gets. This policy says exactly what is collected, where it goes, and how to get rid of it.
The short version
Apex has no advertising, no analytics, no trackers and no third-party SDKs. Nothing you record is sold, shared or shown to anyone else. There is currently no way for another person to see your drives at all.
Location. While you are recording a drive, Apex reads your position, speed and altitude from the phone's GPS, including when the screen is off — otherwise a drive would stop the moment you pocket the phone. Recording only happens while a drive is running. Apex does not track you in the background at any other time.
What you type in. Your display name, bio, and the cars and roads you add.
Your account. If you sign in with Apple, Apex stores the anonymous user identifier Apple provides. If you choose to hide your email, Apex never sees the real one. No password is created or stored.
Photos. Only the photo you pick for a share card, only when you pick it, and only on your device.
Apex does not collect your contacts, your browsing, your device identifiers for advertising, or any usage analytics.
You can. Everything works, and every drive stays on your phone and is sent nowhere. An account exists for one reason: so losing your phone does not mean losing your history.
On your phone, and — if you are signed in — on servers operated by Supabase Inc. on your behalf. Access is enforced per-row at the database level, so your data is readable only by your own account.
Data is sent over encrypted connections. Your login token is kept in the iOS Keychain, not in ordinary app storage.
Nobody. There is no advertiser, no data broker, no analytics provider and no partner. Supabase acts only as the hosting provider.
The only exception is the legal one: if a valid court order compels disclosure.
Until you delete it. Deleting a drive removes it from your phone and the server. Deleting your account removes everything, permanently.
Under GDPR and Turkey's KVKK you may see your data, correct it, take it elsewhere, or have it erased. Apex does not make you write in to exercise any of that:
The legal basis for processing is your consent, given when you grant location access and when you create an account. You may withdraw it at any time by deleting your account.
Apex is not intended for children under 13, and no part of it is designed for or directed at them.
If this policy changes in a way that affects what is collected or who sees it, the app will say so before the change takes effect.
